Decks, Siding, Sheetrock, Paint & Cabinets

(January-February)

Here's the entry deck after we adjusted the tool shed and extended the joists. Below is the front deck.

In this picture we've just about finished siding the tool shed.

The floor installer has started laying the distressed 1x6 pine flooring. According to her paperwork, it used to be the floor of a furniture factory in Peoria, Illinois, whichconsisted of laminated 2x6's on edge.

Above is a closeup.

We also got the window that forms one wall of the shower. Here, you're kind of looking slantwise acorss the bathroom out that window.

Ed Canepa, the tile guy, is going to start next week on the shower, so it will be cool to see how that looks.

The sheetrockers have finished and the painter has done the white-out, including a red wall which now isn't going to be red but paneled.

Another shot of the red wall. And to the right, the bank of windows in the living room.
