Rafters

(October - November)

In this photo we've got the first few rafters in place in early October. It's a pretty simple roofline, which is good for a metal roof.

Here's a shot of the finished rafters with the outriggers along the rakes and tails along the eaves.
And finally, the finished roof.
We've started installing windows in this photo, in late October.
Here we've installed the 6'x6' windows over the patio door openings. Each of them weighted about 250 pounds, just about all two people could do to pick them up.
We used some new pump jacks that walk a plank up a 24' aluminum pole to lift the windows 10 feet into the air so we could maneuver them into position.
