July — Framing

In the last day or two of July we started framing the basement interior walls. Here we've lifted the two glue lams in place that support the main level.

Below, we've got most of the perimeter walls up.

This is the last day of July and we've pretty much got the main floor joists in place. We still have a few places to fill in — the library and a few other places. Now we'll start the details — the sheet rock backing, the cross-bridging, the solid blocking on the walls, a few hd fasteners around the fireplace framing, and then we'll be ready for the plywwod subfloor and main level framing.
