Framing IV

Our last update was in early March when we got the steel I-beams in place and moved up to get the garage floor framed and roof on.
Once we got that done, we started on the stem walls to bring the permimeter up to floor joist level.
In this photo, Rob is standing at about the main floor level. Those two posts on either side go up to the top of the main level walls.
Here we've put down the joists and are working on the blocking, and below, nailing down the last of the subfloor.

After the subfloor we started framing main level walls, and then put on the exterior sheathing.
Once the main level walls were done, we started on the glue-lam beams on the west side of the house that frame in the patio door and windows.
Below, left, we've got the posts and glue-lams up, ready for the next set of posts that carry more glue-lams. Two of the posts will have these six-way brackets.
