It was a pretty typical March day when we got a smaller crane to set the 22-foot 4x16 floor joists for the garage.
That's Jim at the left, rigging the joists, and Rob and Chad (below) setting them in place.
Once joists and plywood subfloor were down (below, right) we start work on the ceiling joists.
Here we have the ledger bolted to the wall
and the 4x12 blocks (each with a hold-down bracket bolted through the ledger
into the concrete wall) in place, we're ready to start the TJI joists.
