Framing

R.K. Construction poured the final walls of the garage in January and since then we've installed the footing drains, gutter drains and backfilled.
We're now getting ready to start framing. The first step is lift the large I-beams from the parking lot to the lower side of the house where they'll be the base for our floor joists.
These are the I-beams lined up in the parking lot.
Each of the four beams weighs about 4,000 pounds and has to be lifted
our about 100 feet from the parking lot.
Below is a shot of the steel posts on the lower side of the house and below that is a stiched photo trying to show where they are now (upper right just past the pickup) and where they'll be placed (lower left).
That all happens next Wednesday, weather permitting.
