A shot of the chaos on the main floor. Kitchen is almost done.
   
We've been working on finish since our last post. The front door finally arrived, the end-grain plywood floor is down but not finished and many of the cabinets are installed.
Here's a shot of the front door -- with a stainless steel privacy screen on the inside, millions of 1/8th inch holes drilled in a stainless steel sheet.
Great shot of the stairs leading from the entry level to the living/dining.kitchen area. Shingle walls inside blending with the shingles outside. Concrete on the opposite wall.
Here's a photo of the dining cabinets -- rift-cut while oak doors.
Below is a picture of the kitchen.
We've started fitting the 6x18 stacked stair treads.
 
This is the mock-up of the finish on the living room fireplace. Those sheets of throw-away 1/4" plywood will become 1/4" steel sheets.
