Windows/Siding January 09

January was a month of odds and ends -- interior framing and blocking and such like.

But We did get our windows installed. Here you're looking at the north end of the house.

Below is a shot from the office/entry level looking west through the upper great room windows.
Also during January, Stan Homola of Mastercraft Masonry has been laying up the stone around the fireplace and retaining walls.

This is the retaining wall at the guest bedroom level. Above is a picture of the gutter along the top of that wall.
Mike Polly of Mike Polly Welding also got started on the stairs from the entry to the main level. To the right is the bare skeleton of the stairs.
Below, Mike is welding the 3/4" steel plate to the central stair jack.
Next, we'll let those plates into wood stair treads and fasten them.
