Finish II

Here's the cooking island ready for the black granite countertops. We'll need to make the sink cutouts before they install, but otherwise, we're ready.
Below is the installer from Firespaces, laying up the soapstone tiles on the wall, before installing the fireplace.

That's a look at the living room fireplace from the dining room, with Jim's template in the foreground for gluing up the curved base we need on those curved walls up by the master bedroom.

It's now mid-November. We're really close to letting the painter start. The granite countertops should be installed momentarily. the game room floor gets finished so we can install the pool table the week of Thanksgiving.

Pretty soon we're going to have to look for a new home.
