We're digging a hole in the hillside for this house, just north of Neskowin overlooking the ocean. It was designed by Dietmar Goebel, a Newport architect we've worked with before. There's a lot of rock around this site, and it made for an interesting excavation. As you can see below, we had to rent a Bobcat with a chisel to chip out a bit in the basement.

We finally got the excavation done. Now it's ready for the foundation crew.
