| It's always tempting at this stage of a house to wonder if you could just cover the rafters with glass. I've been in houses where they tried stuff like that. Bad idea. | |

| You can see from the picture and the one below, this roofline has a softness to it, partly because of the 4 1/2 in 12 pitch, and the valleys running back into the main roofline. Below was taken July 1, and now we get ready for adding the rafter tails, blocking, venting, finally plywood and then the roofer. | |
