| We're finally getting started framing this house in Pacific City. We thought
we'd be here June 1st, but the Tillamook County Building inspector threw
us a curve by requiring more handrails at the Sitka Center job. But we got
that done, got started putting down sill plates on Monday and got rained
out by noon. Tuesday started rainy, but finished up warm and sunny. In the
above picture, you're looking northwest toward Cape Kiwanda. Below, we've
started framing walls, and you can see the view from one of the downstairs
bedrooms.
Of course we're not entirely finished with the Sitka project. There's a gravel entry path to rake and compact, door closers on the storm doors, and a few other punch list items. But it feels good to start a new project. |
