| While the fireplace madness was happening inside, we've been outside getting started with the window trim and shingle siding. Here, we've scaffolded three sides of the house and are trimming out the windows with 5/4 cedar. | |

| One of the nice things about siding (in the summer!) is that you get to be outside and see what's happening. This was an amazing day—the fog was doing elegant things to the rock. | |

| We started trimming windows around the end of July and here on the 19th of August we're just about done. If you squint, you can see the trim over the arched window. And below, we're done. | |
